Radiovisiography – safe computer roentgen radiation
Radiovisiographic system is a set of devices for seeing roentgen image on a computer screen without a traditional film (consequently – without time consuming development process). At Specialistic Stomatological Center Dentima, one of the most modern sets of the type is available: radiograph Visualix USB and a spot apparatus Gendex 765DC. The most modern spot roentgen apparatus combine images precision adn comfort of usage with patient’s safety. Extremely little focus reaches by Gendex 765DC – (0,4 mm), and accurate image processing to a digital state, results in a very accurate sharp picture available on the screen of a computer immediately (a print-out also available of course).
What is more the dose of radiation received by a patient (and a doctor) is even 90% lower than while using traditional, previous x-ray apparatuses. Being within 1 m from the head of Gendex 765DC does not cause exceeding of permissible dose of radiation (1 mR per year), even after 10 000 images taken.
